Early Season Crop Scouting

Early Season Crop Scouting
Late season could give way to better growth stage.

The delay in planting, especially in southern Indiana, led to some crop emergence issues. Fields were planted especially late south of Indianapolis. However, by the last week of May, corn planting was ahead of the five-year average in Indiana. If the temperatures warm up, growth could take off pretty quickly.

Here are some of the early season crop shots we captured with our camera. Some relate to scouting, others show various trends in tillage.
