The Wisconsin FFA Foundation and the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association will be partnering in the upcoming Wisconsin State Championship Auctioneer Contest on Tuesday, Aug. 5.
The event will be held on the main stage in the coliseum beginning at 1:30 p.m.. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate.

The Foundation will receive 100% of the funds raised from auction items that have been secured from generous in-kind supporters. Such items include a pedal tractor, pedal weinermobile, signed Green Bay Packer footballs, more than $500 in Organic Valley products, a basket of equine items and western wear, Wisconsin Badger football tickets, Green Bay Packer preseason tickets, Milwaukee Brewers tickets and 10 hours of marketing services.
"We are really looking forward to this event. Wisconsin State Fair is such an exciting event and a perfect fit for our organization to be involved based on the FFA tradition. Not to mention how FFA supporters love a good auction," says Lori Lulich, president of the Wisconsin FFA Foundation Board of Directors.
The Wisconsin FFA Foundation is continuing the momentum of last year's record fundraising year, in which over $500,000 was raised to support Wisconsin FFA members. These resources are significant in supporting statewide membership, which is at a 30-year high, and the addition of seven chapters added over the past five years. The growth in fiscal support has equated to new activities added for members to discover and refine their career skills and leadership abilities.
The Wisconsin State Championship Auctioneer Contest invites all to attend and is free with general state fair admission.
