Soybeans lower as rain arrives in Argentina. (audio)

Crop and other markets await the Federal Reserve’s announcement at about 1 p.m. CST, which many expect will include the first interest rate increase in a year.
Before that announcement, the December crop contracts expire at noon today.
Cold and snow will spread through central United States beginning on Thursday, with the snow largely staying in the northern Plains and northern Midwest.
