Brent adds three new models to its 96 Series Avalanche grain carts for 2013.

Since 1998, Brent Avalanche grain carts have pushed the envelope for unloading speed, convenience and capacity, and the now-complete 96 series continues that legacy.

The company rolled out the 2,000-bushel capacity 2096 in 2011, now three more models join the line - the 1596 (1,500 bushels), the 1396 (1,300 bushels) and the 1196 (1,100 bushels). This completes the Avalanche grain cart line.

POWER MOVER: The Brent Avalanche cart line adds three models - each offering unloading speeds up to 1,000 bushels per minute.

The carts introduced the industry's first pivoting auger in 1998, and they now feature a new multi-directional downspout for best grain placement. The 1396 and 1196 offer pistol-grip control for easy adjustment of auger raise/lower, downspout right/left and front/rear for one-stop unloading of each trailer compartment saving tractor driveline and wear. The five-function control for the bigger 2096 and 1596 models includes auger-pivot and flow-door controls to minimize hydraulic-outlet requirements.

The pivoting auger offers more than 5 feet of hydraulically controlled height adjustability from 10-feet, 5-inches to 16-feet, 6-inches (depending on the model) and extendable reach up to 8-feet, 11-inches from the card. The Avalanche grain carts feature an exclusive drivetrain combining a belt-driven 20-inch diameter floor auger with a heavy-duty, direct-drive 90-degree gearbox for the 24-inch model (2096) or a 22-inch diameter vertical auger (all other models). That pushes unloading speeds up to 1,000 bushels per minute.
