For the second consecutive year Rosemary Herschleb of Columbia County exhibited the Overall Champion entry in the 2012 Wisconsin State Fair Performance Lamb Division. In addition, she also exhibited the Reserve Overall Champion. The Performance Lamb Division is a comprehensive competition incorporating rate of gain, live show and carcass evaluation. The overall top 10 winners, as well as the top two exhibitors in the individual components of the contest, receive special premiums from Wisconsin State Fair.

Herschleb's Overall Champion entry was a Crossbred, which was 14th in rate of gain (.84), 10th in the carcass show and Grand Champion in the live show for an overall score of 86.38. Herschleb received a banner and $300 from Wisconsin State Fair. Her Overall Reserve Champion was a Crossbred placing 10th in rate of gain (.87), 16th in the carcass show and 2nd in the live show for an overall score of 83.89. She received a banner and $250 from Wisconsin State Fair.
