If you are a Colorado State University employee, or a family member of one, or just a friend of someone employed at CSU, you can save a few dollars in purchase of tickets for the National Western Show in Denver Jan. 7-22.
But if you're just a member of the "general public," those savings are not available, meaning it might be a good time to become a guest of a CSU staffer.
Tickets purchased through the special CSU offer are also free of service charges. Those qualifying can save $4.50 for every ticket ordered, plus $2.25 on the order itself.
An unlimited number of tickets may be ordered, and must be purchased via the National Western Stock Show's Group Services agency office. No discounts will apply if you purchase tickets through the Stock Show Box Office.

After you log in and create an account (no charge) , select an event from the pull-down menu. Click on "Apply "Group Code" – you get that from your friendly CSU worker – and pick a seating area, price and number of tickets you need. Make sure to include "Colorado State University" in the Group/Company field.
CSU has long been a big part of the Denver show, which attracts contestants and stadium crowds from around the nation.
When attending, check out CSU's exhibit booth in the Hall of Education for information on academic programs, prizes and more. CSU Day will be held at the show on Jan. 14, an event will includes a photo session with university mascot CAM the Ram.
The exhibits include information about Colorado crops that reaches beyond the livestock segment. Special Colorado Department of Agriculture exhibits will be offered throughout the show.
