Cleanfix Fans Adjust To Diesel Engine Temperatures

Cleanfix Fans Adjust To Diesel Engine Temperatures

Fan pitches for fuel economy and pneumatically-controlled reversing feature keeps radiators clean.

Cleanfix radiator fans use a thermo-mechanical servo on each blade to keep the pitch at the proper angle to conserve fuel when a diesel engine's temperature requires less than maximum pitch, but will engage the fan fully when temperatures rise.

In addition, the company's design includes a pneumatically-operated reversing system to give the fan a maximum "blowing" capacity when it is reversed to clean radiators and air intake screens. The reversing feature can be accessed by a pre-set timer, or by manually switching to the "reverse" mode.

Research on the fan in Germany shows more than 6% fuel savings through more precise engine temperature control and free-flowing air-intake systems.

Cleanfix's reversible fan for diesel engines cleans clogged radiators and screens for improved engine efficiency and economy.

Cleanfix comes as a standard or as a factory option on many major OEM diesels, but the fan can be easily retrofitted to existing engines with an available mounting kit.
