Cash-Back Incentive Offered For Roundup Ready PLUS Purchases

Cash-Back Incentive Offered For Roundup Ready PLUS Purchases

Valent USA and Monsanto continue their collaboration with cash incentive to soybean producers.

Valent USA and Monsanto Company are extending their long-time collaboration in Roundup Ready PLUS Weed Management Solutions with a new cash-back incentive for herbicide purchases for soybean fields in 2013.

This year growers who use Fierce Herbicide from Valent will receive $3 per acre cash back. Fierce joins a long list of other Valent products already in the program such as: Valor, Valor XLT, Gangster, Cobra and Select Max with Inside Technology.

Fierce contains a residual element which aids in the practice of protecting glyphosate-containing herbicides from becoming weed resistant.

Soybean producers using Rondup Ready Plus herbicide technology have a $3 per acre incentive to use Valent's new residual product Fierce.

Monsanto research shows, since 2010, the percentage of soybean acres treated with residual herbicides grew from 33% to 46% in 2012.

Growers using Valent products in spring and fall will be eligible for yup to $6 per acre for the year.
