Case IH 2240 Sprayer Aimed At Owner Operators

Case IH 2240 Sprayer Aimed At Owner Operators

High crop clearance and all the amenities of the bigger sprayers, the 2240 fills in a product line.

With 62-inches of clearance over the crop, a cab-forward, rear engine design and a hydrostatic three-speed transmission, the new 2240 Patriot sprayer from Case IH fills answers the need for a smaller sprayer for owner-operators who want all the function of the company's bigger machines.

Powered by a 165-horsepower 6.7 L Case IH diesel engine, and capable of hauling 660 gallons of product, the 2240 can be had in a 60/80 or 60/90-foot boom configuration that maintains boom height at any speed even in tight turns.

The new Patriot 2240 sprayer from Case IH offers all the bells and whistles from the bigger models in a more compact package for owner-operators.

The 2240 is powered with a Tier 4A engine that uses Selectiive Catalytic Reductino (SCR) technology to allow the engine to be tuned for maximum performance with EPA requirements met at the end of the exhaust pipe. Overall, the technology which will remain on Case IH engines of high horsepower ratings after the Tier 4 Final regs are in place, allow a 10% boost in fuel economy and longer maintenance intervals.

An 86-gallon fuel tank ensures long run times between refueling.

In addition, the 2240 can be ordered with AIM Command, the spray system that enhances efficiency at any speed or terrain contour to avoid skips and overlaps.

The 2240 Patriot is new this month and more information is available at:  CASE.
