How did it happen that politicians have become jokes, and comedians are taken seriously?

 “Watch their eyes. Blinkers always lie,” sez L.M. Duck, a retired politician. He would know.

And he adds: “If you think the presidential race has been nasty, ya ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Humans are eating more like animals. Grazing is good, and now Whole Foods is putting in a forager kiosk of fresh exotic stuff like black summer truffles and wild sea beans — grown locally?

At Koffee Klutchers the other morn, Preacher told I.M. Nutz: “God loves ya … an’ I’m tryin.”

School’s finally back in session, giving grandparents some babysitting relief.

My 6-foot frame is settling lower and wider. My wife sez I’m “rusting out.”

The older you get, the faster time flies … along with your money and your mind.

That’s a good reason for starting farm transitions to next-gens once ya hit 50. The idea is to have ’em make their biggest mistakes early in life — on their tab, not yours.
