Badgerland Financial Offers Up to 20, $1,000 Scholarships

Scholarships are for students pursuing studies in agriculture or an agriculture-related field.

Badgerland Financial announced that it will award up to 20, $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing postsecondary studies in agriculture or an agriculture-related field.

Requirements include that an applicant must live within the 33-county area served by
Badgerland Financial and be a graduating high school senior pursuing their interest and studies in an
agriculture-related field at a short course, technical school or college. Applications must be
postmarked by Monday, March 9, 2009. Payment will be made after Badgerland Financial receives
proof of completion of the first semester.

Applications are available for download at or upon request
from any Badgerland Financial office. Office locations include: Arcadia, Beaver Dam, Black River Falls,
Baraboo, Burlington, Chilton, Darlington, Dodgeville, Fond du Lac, Janesville, Lancaster, Madison,
Mondovi, Mt. Horeb, Plymouth, Richland Center, Sparta, Viroqua and Watertown. Applications will also
be sent to area high schools and may be obtained from agriculture instructors or guidance counselors.
