Plans are underway for the 13th annual Association of Women in Agriculture (AWA) Breakfast on the Farm. The breakfast will be held on Sunday, April 13th from 8 a.m.-noon at the Stock Pavilion located on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.
This country tradition includes a farm fresh meal of pancakes, eggs, applesauce, mushrooms, sausage, milk, juice and ice cream. Tickets can be purchased at the door for adults $7, seniors (65+) $6, students $5 and kids (under 5) $3.
During breakfast, enjoy live entertainment including the Prairie Thunder Cloggers, the Old Time Polka Band, the UW Marching Band and a visit from Bucky Badger!
The event also features an “education corral” with an interactive petting zoo and agriculture awareness activities. Visitors of all ages can learn about Wisconsin’s important agricultural industry.
