The Italian-built Maximetro planter has been used to plant 8,000 acres in five days.

Boasting that it can plant 8,000 acres in 5 days, the Italian built Maximetro planter also offers accuracy.

A vacuum system pulls and then holds the seed into flat seed plate holes no matter its shape or size. Field trials show a yield increase of 3% with Maximetro. From Maschio Gaspardo, the unit offers 12, 14, 16, 24, 36 or 48 rows. The unit can also deliver fertilizer in both dry and liquid form.

Maschio Gaspardo is based in Padova, Italy. However, the company has a North American site located in Eldridge, Iowa. For more information call 888-648-7462 or visit
