Alice in Dairyland is a public relations professional who serves as the state's agricultural ambassador. Although the position is steeped in tradition, it requires a forward-looking grasp of the trends in both agriculture and communications. It is a one year, full-time contract position with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. The salary is $40,000.
To apply, you must be a Wisconsin resident and at least 21 years of age before June 1. You need at least three years of education, training, or experience in communications, marketing, agriculture, public relations, or a combination of these.
