DATCP will host Working Lands Initiative training sessions in late September. These all day sessions will be directed towards county planning, zoning, and conservation staff, county officials, and regional planning staff. Registration for these sessions is $11 and includes lunch.
In addition to the 5 statewide training sessions in September, DATCP is partnering with the Wisconsin Towns Association to sponsor 6 additional workshops in October and November. These workshops are directed towards town officials, landowners, and others interested in the new Working Lands Initiative.
DATCP anticipates holding additional outreach and training efforts throughout 2009 and 2010, including informational sessions at annual conferences and topic specific training sessions. To learn more about training session locations and agenda details, email DATCPWorkingLands@Wisconsin.gov.
