5. British citizens vote June 23 on whether or not to remain in the European Union. A recent poll found 38% of farmers favor staying in the EU, 34% favor leaving and 28% are undecided. – Farm Futures

6. Land O’Lakes and Winfield have invested $12 million into the Winfield Crop Adventure at Fair Oaks Farms near Winemac, Ind. The facility offers an interactive look at crops, crop production and crop technology. – Farm Futures

7. The Vermont Department of Agriculture has announced a series of public hearings on the final draft of new agricultural rules designed to protect water quality. The legislature passed the Vermont Clean Water Act last June. The act requires voluntary water quality practices become mandatory. – WAMC Northeast Public Radio
