Pennsylvania's Center for Dairy Excellence is offering 50 scholarships for first-time participants to attend February's Pennsylvania Dairy Summit. This special offering aims to help young farmers and students interesting in dairy farming to take advantage of a valuable learning opportunity and to network with milk producers.
The summit will be held on Feb. 7 and 8 at the Lancaster Host Resort, Lancaster, Pa. The scholarships offset registration costs by $100 per participant. The Summit is hosted annually by the Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Dairy Stakeholders. The Pennsylvania Dairy Task Force, Penn State Dairy Alliance and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture are supporting partners.

The Center is also offering scholarships to the 2007 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit, scheduled for February 7 – 8, 2007, at the Lancaster Host Resort in Lancaster, Pa. This premiere dairy event in the Northeast is hosted by the Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Dairy Stakeholders. The Center for Dairy Excellence, Penn State Dairy Alliance and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture are supporting partners.
The Center will provide scholarships for $100 to offset the cost of the Summit registration for up to 50 producers who are first-time participants at the Summit.
