The Roger and Beverly Peterson family will host the 2010 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days in Pierce County. On Oct. 15, show organizers introduced the Peterson family.
The Petersons own 800 acres and operate another 1,300 acres of farmland southeast of River Falls. The farm consists of a 73-cow dairy operation combined with feeder cattle supported by a sizeable cash grain enterprise. Their management and workforce include their five children and three part-time employees. Roger's parents, LeRoy and Mary-Alice Peterson, are still very active in their own farming operation and work share with Roger and Beverly.
The show will be held in July of 2010. This is the first time Pierce County will be hosting the event. Country Aire Farms will host the 2008 Farm Technology Days July 15-17 near Greenleaf in Brown County. The 2009 show will be held at the Crave Brothers Farm near Waterloo in Dodge County.
