The North Dakota State University Extension Service has issued short- and long-term agricultural planning price projections for North Dakota.

It's projected planning prices for 2009 are:

Crops

Spring wheat -- $6/bu
Durum wheat -- $7.40/bu
Oats -- $2.30/bu
Feed barley -- $2.80/bu
Mailing Barley--$4.20/bu
Oil sunflower -- $15.50/cwt
Non-oil sunflower --$21/cwt
Corn -- $3.50/bu
Soybeans -- $8.90/bu
Canola -- $15.50/bu
Flaxseed -- $7.80/bu
Winter wheat -- $5.25/bu
Dry peas -- $9.91/cwt
Dry beans -- $24/cwt
Alfalfa hay -- $75/ton
Mixed hay -- $53/ton

Livestock and milk

400-500 pound beef steers, fall quarter 2009* -- $125/cwt*
500-600 pound beef steers, fall quarter 2009 -- $115/cwt*
600-700 pound beef steers, fall quarter 2009 -- $110/cwt**
700-800 pound beef steers, spring quarter 2010 -- $107/cwt**
800-900 pound beef steers, spring quarter 2010 -- $105/cwt**
1,100-1,700 pound cull cows -- $52/cwt
250 lb slaughter hogs -- $49/cwt
105-140 lb slaughter lambs -- $105
Slaughter ewes -- $30/cwt
All milk -- $16.03/cwt
