The 2012 Iowa Power Farming Show will be the site for the introduction of a new self-propelled sprayer line to North American farmers.

American Resources LLC and PLA have teamed up to bring these sprayers to market. They will be offering two different models of self-propelled sprayers for this first year. American Resources LLC of Lake Mills, Iowa, will be the North American distributor.

“Several distinct features include rear or front boom capabilities, high crop clearance, ultra-low compaction ratings and many other industry-leading standard options. One exclusive unique option available to both models is the patented Degania Wind Tunnel. Several advantages include reduced drift and/or expanded coverage, reduced water usage, and it lengthens the window of application in variable conditions,” says Steve Nelson, Owner of American Resource LLC.

The PLA sprayer will be displayed in the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines at the Jan. 31 – Feb. 2 Iowa Power Farming Show.

PLA from Las Rosas, Santa Fe, Argentina, is a leading manufacturer of self-propelled sprayers, pull-type sprayers, and planters with more than 30 years of industry experience. The company currently has manufacturing facilities in Argentina and Brazil. In addition to the United States and Canada, it exports to Australia, South Africa, Europe and Russia.
