‘Turnaround Tuesday’ taking toll on trading: Part II

There’s a “ticking bomb” waiting for the soybean market,” Scott Stiles told the Agricultural Council of Arkansas’ board of director meeting on May 19. The potential bomb is a  forecast that would push the 2015 soybean acreage above the 84.6 million number contained in USDA’s March 31 Prospective Planting Report. A higher acreage would push soybean ending stocks higher and U.S. prices lower, possibly below the $9 mark.
