Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, La., will again be the venue for the 2016 Louisiana Agricultural Consultants’ Association Annual Meeting, the Louisiana Agricultural Technology and Management Conference. The conference will officially begin with lunch sponsored by BASF Corporation on Wednesday, Feb. 17, and end with recertification for consultants and commercial applicators at noon, Friday, Feb. 19. Certain sessions will qualify for CCA CEUs.

There will be a pre-conference symposium beginning the morning of Feb. 16 and concluding at noon, Feb. 17. It will feature irrigation management. Pre-registration will be necessary for this workshop due to limited space. Please contact Stacia Davis ([email protected]) or (318) 741-7430 ext. 1105 for more information.

The casino hotel is under the same roof as the convention center where the meetings will be held. The casino resort offers personal play golf on the par 71 Tamahka Trails Championship Audubon Trials Course, Spa La Vie, a heated indoor pool with swim-up bar, and a tri-movie theater with first-run Hollywood hits. Private poker games or card game tables are also available with advance notification. Unique shopping opportunities are available inside the hotel atrium, and restaurants — from fine dining to casual — are just around the corner at resort restaurants and in the immediate area.

There will be educational, informational, and entertaining presentations.
