Cullum Seeds, LLC, has acquired soybean and wheat varieties from Delta King, enabling Cullum to significantly expand its customer base.

“Incorporating these products into our line up gives us an expanded inventory we believe is unique to the seed business in the South,” said Kelly Phipps, general manager/partner for Cullum. “Our goal is to meet Southern farmers' needs with quality, top-yielding products combined with expert customer service.”

The Delta King products are geared toward geographies within the Mid-South and Delta regions. “This brand has a great reputation,” said Lanny Ashlock, soybean specialist for Cullum. “We have previously worked together on joint testing projects, so the performance of the product is well known to Cullum. It will be a great fit for us and our customers.”

The Delta King varieties will be available from normal seed channel suppliers. “Customers wanting the Delta King varieties can expect to purchase them in as normal a fashion as possible,” stated Jeff Pangle, sales manager for Cullum. “We couldn't be more excited about the opportunity to serve current Delta King customers.”

Cullum-owned brands, including Armor Beans and Belle Corn, are currently marketed throughout the South.

Based in Fisher, Ark., Cullum Seeds, LLC, is a locally owned regional seed company serving Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisiana, Texas and Florida. It markets its seed under the Armor Beans and Belle Corn brands. Cullum Seeds can be reached at (877) 822-7333.
