On Oct. 7, soon after historic rain hit the region, Lindsay McClam took pictures during an airplane flyover of the terrible flooding in and around Kingstree, South Carolina, where she and her husband, Brian, farm.

“Crops are destroyed, but at least our home and children are safe,” said Lindsay in an email Oct. 9.  “We are thankful. We have family and friends who have lost their homes and are still fighting the water.”

Kingstree is in Williamsburg County and about 60 miles inland from the South Carolina coast.

Southeast Farm Press gives a very special thank you to Lindsay for graciously providing these pictures.
