Futures mixed as report fallout settles

Outside markets calmer as China jitters ease. (Audio)

Grain futures are mixed this morning in a fairly quiet overnight session after a lot of volatility Tuesday. USDA’s series of reports contained plenty of surprises, sending prices higher though they didn’t solve the problems created by burdensome supplies. Outside markets are noticeably calmer today on better than expected trade data out of China.
