The crop markets are mostly lower near midday as traders in the commodities and a number of other markets await the Federal Reserve’s two-day meeting that begins on Tuesday. The central bank is widely expected to raise interest rates at least 0.25 point. An announcement is expected early afternoon on Wednesday.
In daily export reports China bought soybeans and grain sorghum. The weekly export inspections were down from the prior week for corn, soybeans and wheat.
