Focus on Soybean is a Web portal for growers, crop consultants and researchers seeking information on producing healthy, high-yielding soybeans. The Web portal currently offers 15 Web-based presentations by leading university scientists on topics such as specialty soybeans for niche markets, lessons from Asian soybean rust after three years, and the latest research on planting dates, row spacings and seeding rates. The portal also has a search function that links subscribers to soybean-related information found on 62 partner Web sites.

A subscription also provides access to a broad range of technical and research information from the Plant Management Network, including access to several science-based agronomic journals as well as future “Focus” portals for other crops as they are developed.

Annual subscription is $45. Contact Plant Management Network, Dept. FIN, 3340 Pilot Knob Rd., St. Paul, MN 55121-2097, 800/328-7560, or visit www.plantmanagementnetwork.org/infocenter/topic/focusonsoybean.
