Another independent seed company purchase has been announced. Dow AgroSciences is purchasing Sansgaard Seed Farms, which sells Prairie Brand Seed. Located at Story City, IA, Sansgaard Seed has marketed soybeans for more than 70 years and added corn in the past few years.  

Ben Kaehler with Dow AgroSciences says that Sansgaard “has developed an excellent reputation in the Midwest as a leading provider of top-quality, high-yielding soybeans.”

Sansgaard President Brian Sansgaard states, “By joining Dow AgroSciences, we expand our product offering of both traits and genetics, while we continue to operate with a regional and personal focus.”
