In an effort to intersect soil health, the 4Rs nutrient management (Right fertilizer source, Right rate, Right time, Right place) and conservation practices, Commodity Classic brought together an Illinois farmer and certified crop adviser to discuss “Leaving a Legacy on Your Farm Through the Soil.”

Dale Cowan, 2016 International Certified Crop Adviser of the Year and agronomist from Ontario, Canada led the discussion, followed by farmer Tom Connors, a 2016 4Rs advocate from Shipman, Illinois. This gallery highlights key points from the discussion.
