New tools from Dewalt get a workout on the farm

Dewalt unveiled a new line of air tools including a 3/8-in. drive air ratchet, 3/8-in. reversible drill, angle die grinder and palm sander. Complete with shock-resistant housings, aluminum bodies, one-handed directional switches and high rpm for heavy-duty fastening, the tools are designed to provide quality performance and be tough enough to take a beating.

Each air tool has ergonomic handles with rubber grips, as well as an adjustable exhaust port, which rotates 360 degrees and directs exhaust away from the operator. Although pneumatic tools are noisy, need oiling and require hoses, overall, this new line of air tools is a good buy for a farm shop. The compact tools perform well. When compared to buying cordless equivalents, if you already have a good air source, this Dewalt line of air tools is an affordable option.

Team FIN tested the air tools and rated them from 1 to 5.
