Seed technology is the basis for a lot of what you do today, but does the consumer really understand that? That was the question members of the American Seed Trade Association wanted to answer and the best approach was to conduct a survey with key targets to learn more about what they know, and gauge responses to key crop tech messages.
The group identified 602 consumers - 200 millenials, 200 Moms and 202 food-focused individuals, better known as 'foodies.' They were surveyed over a 6-day period in November. ASTA used a combination of telephone and online surveys.
