It doesn’t seem possible, but farmers will be enjoying their 10th use season for Clearfield rice this year. Clearfield rice, which was developed jointly by the LSU AgCenter and BASF, is tolerant to Newpath herbicide. One of the keys to Clearfield still being a viable technology, says BASF's Alvin Rhodes, is product stewardship. Rhodes was interviewed at the USA Rice Outlook Conference.
