USA Rice Federation staff members met with the California Wild Rice Advisory Board (CWRAB) to discuss joint promotional activities in the domestic market.
USA Rice's marketing agreement with CWRAB promotes white and brown rice/wild rice mixes to foodservice and consumer audiences in selected domestic promotion activities. Messages about the whole grain and culinary attributes of wild rice appear in USA Rice news releases, contest promotions, on USA Rice's website and social media outlets. Future activities will promote white/brown and wild rice in the USDA MyPlate healthy eating campaign as a nutritious food choice.
