Soybean Planter

Available in 30', 40' and 45' planting widths, the Hiniker 4850 soybean planter can seed in a wide variety of tillage and residue conditions.

The planter uses a 130-bu central seed tank to feed 24, 32 or 36 single-disc seed openers. Planter-style gauge wheels that run adjacent to each seed drop tube accurately place seed at the correct depth. A polyethylene firmer helps ensure good seed to soil contact.

Hiniker, Mankato, MN, uses an angled rotary disc-closer to capture soil from the opener disc and gently return it to the seed trench for a level, uncompacted seedbed.
