Seeding and planting tech on display

Par-Kan offers several seed tenders to the market, this one geared for higher-volume use for dealers and larger operations.

Planting time is a busy time, and having the right tool for the job is important too. Whether it's a seed tender to move more bulk seed to the field with greater efficiency, or an on-farm seed treater to take control of a key part of your business, companies had those tools on display at the fall farm shows.

We've rounded up a gallery of several new items you'll want to consider for your operation, from tenders to seed treaters, to innovative planter attachments. For 2015 you may not be thinking of a new planter, but there are ways to boost the productivity and efficiency of planting across your operation and this is a sampling of tech to consider.

This roundup of new seed tech was put together by the Farm Progress Show New Products team including Tom Bechman, Indiana Prairie Farmer; Mindy Ward, Missouri Ruralist; Lon Tonneson, Dakota Farmer; and Josh Flint, Prairie Farmer. In the two-day shortened Farm Progress Show they were able to nab more than 200 new products, and we're working through the list over the next few weeks.

Check out this latest list of new products and don't miss our other show galleries including:
