Each year the Farm Press Peanut Efficiency awards honors peanut producers for production efficiency. The confidential program is designed to help peanut producers see how an entire operation performs to achieve high yields using managed inputs in an efficient manner.
Over the last two decades, winners have enjoyed a paid trip to the Southern Peanut Growers Conference in Panama City Beach, Fla., and recognition of their efforts to produce an efficient peanut crop.
This year the conference takes place July 21-23.
