A special Peanut Seminar is planned at the Mid-South Farm and Gin Show.

Baltz Feed Company and the Clint Williams Company will conduct the seminar Saturday, March 2, at 1:30 p.m. on the mezzanine level of the Cook Convention Center.

“The seminar will feature a diverse range of topics covering all aspects of the peanut industry, including information from the perspective of growers, peanut buyers, and shellers,” says Tim Price, show manager. “There will also be an industry forecast for 2013, including the recent developments in the Chinese export market.”

Speakers include Howard Thielemier, peanut grower, Pocahontas Ark.; Jeremy Baltz, AGHQ Peanuts; Gordon Drennan, Clint Williams Company; and Kyle Baltz, National Peanut Board. Each speaker will participate in a question and answer session at the end of his presentation.
