The wheat and cattle market topped Stan Bevers' presentation at the 2020 Red River Crops Conference in Altus, Okla., last week. Bevers, the practitioner of ranch economics, King Ranch Institute for Ranch Management, Kingsville, said while there's been some improvement in the wheat market, "it's still have a ways go."
Bevers also provided an update on the cattle market and what the future may hold. Watch this video to hear more from his interview with Farm Press.
Bevers is also a Texas A&M AgriLife Extention Service economist and professor emeritus and the owner of Ranch KPI LLC, a ranch management consulting company.
