UC ANR releases Integrated Pest Management for Citrus — 3rd Edition

Integrated Pest Management for Citrus—3rd Edition has more than 550 colored photographs and 80 figures and tables to help citrus growers, consultants, and pest management professionals identify and manage more than 150 common pests, diseases, and disorders.

This highly anticipated 270-page 3rd edition was updated to introduce a number of new invasive species, including Asian citrus psyllid—a pest that according to the USDA threatens to destroy over 1 million commercial citrus acres with a production value of approximately $3 billion. Other new invasive species addressed in the new manual include the glassy-winged sharpshooter, citrus leafminer, a new strain of citrus peelminer, and diaprepes root weevil—all of which can be found in California.

Integrated Pest Management for Citrus—3rd Edition has more than 550 colored photographs and 80 figures and tables to help citrus growers, consultants, and pest management professionals identify and manage more than 150 common pests, diseases, and disorders. The newly revised 3rd edition contains even more pictures, more resources, and more pests, along with a more detailed table of contents and index for easy searching. Important information about physical disorders, common production problems, and frequent harvest-related problems is also covered. This manual is an indispensable tool for citrus growers, consultants, and pest management professionals alike.
