Doni Barioni, Robert Barkley, and William Ware are among the farmers in the California and Arizona deserts now growing olives to derive oil to make extra virgin olive oil. The acreage is largely experimental yet each of the growers plan to expand their olive operations due to ongoing successes with the crop.
