Grumpy Goats Farm is an organic olive operation nestled among the oak-covered hillsides and small farms of California’s scenic Capay Valley. From this farm Pamela Marvel and her partner in life and business, Stuart Littell grow certified organic olives they mill into award-winning oils.

They currently grow several varieties, including Coratina, Picual, Pendalino, Itrana, Barnea and Nocellera.

By next season their eight-acre high-density operation will double in size as they expect to take delivery of additional trees later this year.

Hand-harvest of their olives should start in October and last through about Thanksgiving, which is when they want all the olives off their trees because that is typically when the first frost arrives in the region.
