The largest citrus-specific conference and trade show in California will be happening Thursday at the Visalia Convention Center.

California Citrus Mutual's annual Citrus Showcase will include educational workshops covering industry trends, labor law and efforts to combat the deadly tree disease huanglongbing as well as a trade show with more than 120 vendors.

The luncheon speaker will be CCM's federal lobbyist, Randy Russell of The Russell Group, who will discuss federal issues impacting the industry. The conference is free to attend, but luncheon tickets are $40 and must be purchased in advance by calling CCM at (559) 592-3790.
