Normal Spring Weather Forecast

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) sees fairly typical spring weather ahead for the entire Corn Belt.

If instead full La Niña (cooler than normal temps) conditions materialize by late May, Iowa State University climatologist Elwynn Taylor says he will drop his corn yield estimate 9% to 140 bu./acre from his current 152 bu./acre estimate.
