It doesn't look much different, and the engine and running gear specs are the same, except the extra traction from the front axle will make a lot of difference on the 4WD version of Mahindra's 4025 utility tractor.

The additional capability makes the 4025 a serious contender in the 40 horsepower utility tractor class, and backs that up with a 167 cubic inch four-cylinder direct-injected diesel engine rated at 41 hp., and 31 hp. at the PTO. Power runs through an 8X2 sliding mesh gear box and transfer case.

The 4025 boasts an open-center, full-live hydraulic system with position and draft controls, and a pump capable of 8.29 gallons per minute. Lift capacity is 3,527 lbs.

Fuel capacity on the 4025 is 14.5 gallons.

The heavy-duty cast iron chassis, loader and 4WD equipment will put this machine at right at two and half tons.
