Vermeer has introduced its Cornstalk Special, a heavy-duty, high-capacity round baler designed to make neat-appearing, high-density bales out of cornstalks.

The 605 Super M Cornstalk Special is built for custom operators and high-volume producers and boasts a powered feed system that helps direct coarse and high-volume stalk material to improve flow into the bale chamber.

A Drop 'n Go Bale Ejection system eliminates the need to disengage and re-engage the powertakeoff when dropping a bale. And, a unique netwrap system feeds the net directly onto the main belts.

Other features of the 605 Super M include cut-out clutch drive protection, safety/highway light assemblies, hydraulic hose guides, fire extinguisher and the Bale Expert monitor with convenient suction cup mounting.

CORNSTALK SPECIAL: Vermeer's new 605 Super M baler is designed to handle cornstalks and make high-density,

neat-appearing bales out of them. The machine is heavy duty from the ground up and features a powered feed system to keep an even flow of heavy materials behind feed grain crops.

The bales coming out of the 605 can range from 30 to 72 inches in diameter and are 61 inches wide. Maximum bale weight is 2,400 lbs.

Hydraulic requirements include two pairs of auxiliary remote outlets with 2,000 psi, 10 gpm flow and a 12 VDC power source.
