Higher Capacity Fifth Wheel Hitch

New hitch has higher capacity and works with a wider range of pickup models.

B&W launches the new RVB3500 Companion fifth wheel aftermarket hitch using the company's Turnoverball mounting design that allows easy, single-point hitch installation. The hitch is designed to handle heavier trailers and pickups with varying bed configurations. The company's earlier Companion model had an 18,000-pound towing capacity and had gained a solid reputation within the Recreational Vehicle Community, and that hitch has remained unaltered since its launch in 1998.

The new RVB3500 is rated at 20,000 pounds retains all the features of its predecessor, and adds a few more tricks of its own. The new hitch offers enhanced height adjustment and flexible installation design. The new hitch features adjustable pivot arms that can be oriented horizontally, relative to the truck's axle, and vertically to allow trailers to clear taller truck bed walls (a common feature on late-model pickups). The new hitch also features adjustable plastic feet that allow the hitch to be mounted snugly no matter what pickup model you own.

Once the hitch is installed the substructure leaves the truck bed unobstructed. The substructure's socket accommodates a range of different Turnoverball-style hitches including the RVB3500 Companion. The single post hitch base drops into the socket and once linked to the substructure uses adaptable leveling feat for stabilization, and bolts to lock securely into position.
