Replacement Pickup Bands for Balers

May Wes has rolled out a new line of poly Pickup Bands for balers, forage harvesters and pull-type choppers.

Pickup Bands are an important part of that baler and forage chopper, and sometimes they get damaged. May Wes Manufacturing is now offering injection molded poly Pickup Bands as direct replacements for metal original equipment bands. The bands are available to fit a range of product brands including John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, New Idea, Challenger and Hesston.

The bands are one-half-inch thick and feature an additional quarter-inch thick reinforced support ring on the inside to add strength and help the band maintain its shape. The poly Pickup Bands are interchangeable with original equipment parts so you run a mix of original and new pickup bands. May Wes reports that there are advantages to making the poly choice including better impact resistance since poly bands won't bend or break, longer wear life and a non-stick finish that feeds material through more easily.
