Looking for late-model used equipment you can put to work on the farm? Want to get a great deal? Then an upcoming auction to be held by Ritchie Bros., may be just the choice. The company has announced that on July 30 it will hold an auction that includes a wide range of agricultural and construction equipment. The event will be held near Odessa, Mo., which is east of Kansas City.

At this sale all ag and heavy equipment items are going to be sold to the highest bidder. There are no minimum bids or reserve prices in this event, and bids can be made in person at the auction site, online in real time at www.rbauction.com or by proxy, according to a company media announcement.

"This Kansas City auction also features a great selection of industrial equipment," says Ed Burchett, regional sales manager, Ritchie Bros., "including three Manitowoc crawler cranes, three Link-Belt crawler cranes, four Caterpillar 950H wheel loaders and a great selection of late-model excavators." Burchett notes that as with all Ritchie Bros. auctions, the event is completely open to the public and all items will be sold to the highest bidders on auction day."

With more than 700 pieces of ag, construction and heavy equipment on hand for the July 30 event, bidders will have plenty of choices. Ritchie Bros. reports a few selections: 10 headers, including two 2010 John Deere 635F flex headers; nine late-model combines - including a 2008 John Deere 9770-STS; eight balers including several John Deere round balers; six late-model mechanical front-drive tractors including a 2011 John Deere 8630R and two 8335R machines; four late-model 4-wheel drive tractors; and three late-model John Deere belted track tractors.
