A new look for your Delta Farm Press Web site

Today’s Delta Farm Press Web site is all new, and we hope you like what you see.

The redesign, under way for several months, brings you more information in a more attractive, easier-to-use format.

“Our new Web site format offers a wider array of timely, relevant information to our readers,” says Farm Press Publisher Greg Frey. “In addition to being more visually attractive, it incorporates a number of elements to make the information easier and faster to access.”

For more than 60 years, Delta Farm Press has been the number 1 source for information about agriculture in the region, says Elton Robinson, editor. “The print edition has been expanded in recent years to include our Web site and a daily e-newsletter. Now, our redesigned site further enhances the scope of the material we can offer our readers and advertisers.”

In addition to the frequently updated news section, the new Web page has buttons that jump to sections on Cotton, Soybeans, Rice, Corn, Wheat, Legislation, Market News, Biofuels, and Equipment, and links to editorial commentaries, as well as photo galleries.

The page includes up-to-the-minute weather, as well as links to a Calendar of Events, Trade Show Podcasts, and to Farm Press University continuing education courses that offer CEU credits for consultants and other ag professionals.

And a click of the mouse will bring up the latest Farm Bill news, items of interest from around the Sunbelt, and Featured Products/Featured Promotions links.

“We believe the enhancements we’ve made to our Web site will make it an even more valuable resource for Southeast agriculture, enabling our readers to stay abreast of what’s going on in agriculture and to get the latest information that’s useful to their business,” says Ed Phillips, managing editor.

As always, we invite your comments about our Web site and suggestions for additional improvements.
