New from Farmfest

Redball's new generation Rudy Lusk, dealer representative for Ag Chem, says the Redball LLC products displayed at Farmfest - its model 670 trailer sprayer and the 1500 nurse trailer - are examples of the company's new design trends since its joint venture with Ag Chem. Most notable was the mushroom shape of the poly tanks and the trailer framing.

The 670 trailer sprayer, a new generation from the model 680, features an X-boom complete with a rubber torsion suspension system to provide a smooth ride with less bounce. A buyer can specify tank size (850 or 1,200 gal.), boom width (45 or 60 ft.), tires and axle widths. "You can custom fit these sprayers to fit your needs," says Lusk. The units also offer speed compensation control with either a Raven 450 or TeeJet 844. Optional, too, is a chemical inductor.

Redball's nurse trailer has a 1,200-gal. tank along with an optional chemical inductor and fender storage racks. Buyers can choose between a 15,000- or 20,000-lb. tandem axle capacity with brakes. There is room for the optional mini-bulk container on the front of the unit, and a choice between a 2- or 3-in. transfer system. Contact Redball LLC, Dept.
